So What is OneBug All About?
OneBug.org is a revolutionary concept that is sweeping the planet. It was founded because people just like yourself were tired of turning on the television and radio and feeling afraid, scared and separated from their fellow human beings. They were tired of feeling misunderstood and put-down for being who they are. Like you, they also noticed that our society and our children, for a long time now, have become a reflection of our entertainment. So they thought: instead of constantly turning off the television and radio, why not create multimedia that promotes the diversity and images that we all want to see. If the same result holds true for positive media as it does for negative media, we should begin to see a shift in the way people perceive themselves and each other. We should be able to change our world, by changing our media.
In 2006 The Secret was released and the die was cast. The founders knew that this was a movement whose time had come. So up went the scaffolds and up went the vision. The mission is now alive and kicking, and with your help, we will make a global vision board that will change our world forever. Together we will create a vision board that includes positive images of true diversity. Positive images of Asians, African Americans, Caucasians, Multi-Racial, Indians, Latinos, and every ethnicity! Gays, Lesbians, Transgender, Straight, all sexual orientations! Muslims, Christians, Spiritual, Hindus, Jews, Atheists, Buddhists, Agnostics, all forms of beliefs!
What Can I Expect From OneBug?
The OneBug.org Diversity and Positive Media movement is looking forward to a very big year. This year the goal of the movement is to produce multiple positive media productions at a high level. We are slated to produce a musical, a feature film, and an animation series called The Lightning Bugs. We have received numerous submissions for musicals and feature films, but we need more. So if you know a writer or are a writer and have a completed script or libretto please download our submission form and send it in to begin the submission process. We want to make sure that when we decide to produce a project that it is the best project that we could have done. So if you have a completed libretto or script, please feel free to email us for the proper submission forms. After we receive your signed submission form along with your synopsis we will contact you if we feel it is a good mix with the objectives we have set for this year.
What Kind of Shows Will OneBug Produce?
OneBug.org is producing shows that celebrate diversity and understanding. We are looking to produce comedic movies, stage plays, musicals and sitcoms with diverse casts. OneBug will produce stories that promote the everyday life of people of all cultures, religions and sexual orientations – stories that celebrate people living and coexisting together peacefully and harmoniously in our society. Think major sitcom with diverse casts. Think Broadway musicals with diverse casts. Think happy feature films with diverse casts. Think OneBug.org.
How Can I Be A Part?:
We cannot do this without your help. We need for everyone to help us get out the word. So please forward information about our movement via the tell you friends link in the side panel. Tell as many people as you can about the OneBug.org Diversity and Positive Media movement and together we will improve our world.
Secondly, we need our OneBug.org family to repost our videos and our articles wherever you can. If you are a journalist or host your own radio or television show please email us and let us know that you would like to set up an interview with the founders of the OneBug movement. You can post any and all of our articles on any website and or blog; all we ask is that you create or leave the hyperlinks intact.
